Something old.

This is something I started about 2 or 3 years ago and I thought I'd try to finish it this spring. I need to make 4 of these blocks to make one wall hanging. It is all needle turn so it takes a little longer than the usual applique. But I think it is really pretty. It is my own design that I got the idea from an antique quilt book.

this is gorgeous!!! I have done applique with the freezer paper to hold the seams down for you...I love it, but it is more time consuming. This will be beautiful when finished and now it will get finished cos you showed all of us....so we'll be waiting to see how it turns out...lol
